I am of the opinion that the slightly larger enclosure is best because it gives the end-user the opportunity to modify and expand the array of sensors while maintaining a clean and compact form factor.

I ran into th website souliss it seems to be a Arduino library with protocol definitions and interactions between nodes via various radio's. There an API and APP to control. Looks a good solution to integrate te ULP-Node into the world of things. No Central site.
No Gateway if you want to. All operational (even for ESP unfortunately no SPARK.

non c'est pas super compliqué mais il faut aussi ensuite pouvoir les positionner sur le PCB, or le NRF24 il faudrait la version SMD pour pouvoir le souder dessous.
Je pensais aussi faire une version ESP8266 en lieu et place du Photon/Spark mais j'ai pas eu le temps pour le moment.
